Research in the domain of criminology and penology including the supervision of master theses, phd-students and generating phd-projects on a national and international level in the domain of penology.
III. Job profile
Requirements (academic qualifications, academic merits, expertise, knowledge, skills)
Notwithstanding the statutory provisions, a PhD or equivalent in criminology is required.
The position involves teaching of the course ‘New questions in criminology’ (language English). Teaching experience in English and publications in penology are a prerequisite for application. Every first appointment is dependent upon the successful delivery of a teaching session. This position should also result in generating (European) criminological research in the domain of penology.

Hospitalisation cover and free use of public transport for travel to and from work are standard conditions of employment. If you would rather cycle to work, compensation is also available for that. Both campuses have extensive sporting facilities which are at your disposal and a nursery is within walking distance.
